I like my Wii, but it is frustrating when the Wii does not detect the movements of the driver. I had problems with the original remote with my EA Sports Active workouts, so I bought this thinking it may work better. Too often, the sensor bar does not capture the movements. It took them long enough, but Nintendo has finally come over to the dark side! Holding this black Wiimote fills one with the sense that one can conquer any video game with a single swing towards the Wii Sensor Bar. A great multitude of foes fall frequently in the wake of this controller’s dark power.
As soon as I opened the package, my Wii games started rattling and shaking as each game tried to move itself behind another. They recognized that they were no match for the black Wiimote. Suddenly, a three star rating in Mario Kart Wii was an easy feat. 242 stars in Super Mario Galaxy? No problem! Even my guitar playing in Guitar Hero 5 improved.
The addition of the Wii MotionPlus accessory is an added benefit, but it’s really more about the prestige that comes with owning your very own midnight black controller. It goes without saying that the Wii Nunchuk Controller – Black is a necessary accompaniment and proves to be a worthy companion to the black Wiimote. Get them both. You will not regret it.
